CSA Notes

Saturday November 29

Today we have potatoes, garlic, sweet potatoes, onions, carrots, and butternut squash.

We still have extra carrots and sweet potatoes. If you would like extra, let me know and I will send you some. If you asked last week you can ask again. Note: I am leaving early AM Saturday to deliver the vegetables, so if you want extras, I need to know tonight. Any requests that come in too late I will send next week.

We will be giving out celeriac next week. If you don’t want one, let me know. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Next week, December 9, is the last week for members who did not cancel any weeks. If you cancelled one, two, or three (or more) weeks, your share will end on December 13, and you will receive one, two, or three weeks of food on that day. I sent you a note letting you know the number of weeks you cancelled (according to my records), your last pick-up date, and how many shares you will receive that day. If you have any questions or corrections please let me know.

These last two-three weeks you will receive the same vegetables, all crops that will keep a long time, so if you get sick of them, just take a break. The sweet potatoes and squash are best kept at room temperature. Keep the potatoes, onions, garlic in a cool, dark place, and the carrots in the refrigerator.

Thank you, Polly
